Music and basketball (I can never motivate myself to go for short walks).
Oh and shopping too. =D
Actually yes they can, some more then others of course.
She's nice as a person- your frustration with how and what she teaches doesn't have to be mingled with her personality.
I totally love my Wednesdays, 'cause like, I have ext2math starting at 7:50am and finishing with ext2english at 4:15... cause like... 8 and a half hours of school is SO...
Read Stephen King, then think about those past weird thoughts creeping in. Nothing by comparison.
Or in general, read a book. Take a break. Procrastinate (Seriously).
So many people have done so much... ><
We've handed our proposal in since around week 6 of term four..
I'm doing... short story. In a class of 7.. or maybe 8... something like that. =]
And yes, it is a great subject! Terrible if you have love affairs with procrastination though.. >.>
+1
I followed through a lot of the reviews when it came out and many said it looked good, but always had at least one complaint. Then there's all the news articles saying that Australia isn't doing so well in the box office.
I watched it few days ago, and for my movie session, it was almost...
Agreed with gella, Fleet foxes are awesome for stuff from 2008.
I say any jazz music. That is, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Gershwin, etc.
Goldfrapp's Seventh Tree is very acoustic.
I find Billy Bragg relaxing, doubt many others would though. lol
Personally I've never liked writing notes, when I tried, the amount of notes I seem to have to make for it to feel like 'complete notes' feels like a complete waste of time.
Skipping your note taking advice, the latter is pretty good. =]
Re: TSFX Head Start Program
Obviously. If you went to the introductory one during the term, you might not feel as encouraged.
Well Cho, opinions do differ. There are other summer school courses that I reckon is probably better then the TSFX one. Price is, however, relative.
Re: TSFX Head Start Program
Haha, andrew and peter, peter isn't it?
You're actually going to the summer schools?
The introductory lecture felt like it'd be a waste of time.
That reminds me of what I read a while back, about the school somewhere in.. Blacktown? That sends their senior chemistry (or maybe it was science in general?) students to TAFE if the school doesn't think that they'll get into top 90 percentile.
That has media coverage, but I think it's still...
Don't know if it's been mentioned:
Janis Joplin's cover of Gershwin's Summertime - some sweet guitaring.
&
Tori Amos' cover of Eminem's '97 Bonnie&Clyde - it's just so creepy it's awesome.
Haven't listened to that one, but it was nothing compared to ones like Odelay and Guero. And he even co produced it with Danger Mouse. As much as it was successful, it wasn't as great as Beck could give.
...art - Regurgitator
My school recommends, but I do know that they forbid some students from choosing Extention English for year 11 because their marks weren't up to scratch (these were below pass marks though).
I think we're also implenting rank restriction on extention two math? So I'm guessing teachers...
