why would person D receive 85 as their internal mark and 87 as their external mark?

My tutor told me that if I can get rank 1 for my internals, I would end up getting the highest HSC external mark at school. Is this necessarily true? Would that mean that if i get rank 1, I don't have to study for my externals?

tbh, i went alright considering i crammed every exam but theres definitely room for improvement as i didn't give these set of exams my best shot hopefully ill go a lot better in trials but that will only happen if i start studying from now :o

For part b would the answer be: as t>0 so cos2x<0 therefore must be pi/4 ≤ 3pi/4 therefore it is never in between 0 and pi/4

I was disappointed with my task 1 scoring only 71% and we just sat task 2 which weighs 30%. A lot of people including myself found task 2 hard. In terms of ranks, what rank do I need in order to be on the safe side for a band e4 at the end? My 2012 school rank is 155-160. thanks

dont drop out of accelerated it will help u tremendously if u come to repeat those are respectable marks, u should be proud if you can get those subjects out of the way this year, there is a higher chance of attaining a higher star
