    SDD Marathon 2013

Someone replied! Alas, you don't specify how many bits long the binary number is, so your question is ambiguous :confused2: :uhoh:  True story, I lost a mark in last year's HSC paper because I did one of these binary interpretation questions wrong. trollface.jpg

    Quick question

A mark of 0 is the least punishment you'd get. I wouldn't be surprised if much harsher penalties were awarded. The board of studies takes cheating very seriously, and this is effectively a form of cheating.

    Alex Rider Series?

You think? I never liked the font. It was almost... dehumanising. Made the books feel too clinical, like I was reading a report and not a novel.

    Alex Rider Series?

I used to love Alex Rider. I reread the first couple loads of times, and have all the books up to Snakehead. Snakehead disappointed me though, and I stopped reading after that. I have vivid memories of them though. The ski chase in Point Blanc, the scuba diving in Skeleton Key, the temple game...

Object Orientated Paradigm - Real World Example

Almost every modern piece of software is developed using an object-oriented paradigm. For an example, you could talk about iPhone app development. Here is a tutorial which demonstrates OOP in an iPhone app: http://www.raywenderlich.com/1797/how-to-create-a-simple-iphone-app-tutorial-part-1

    HSC 2013 MX2 Marathon (archive)

Re: HSC 2013 4U Marathon Observation: if we pick some number n, the number 101-n is excluded. n and 101-n are always of opposite parity. The sum of integers 1..100 is 5050. Take all the 50 odd numbers to be in our set, since they will add up to approximately 5050/2, and by the observation...

Vocabulary and Lexical Density - Advanced English

Let's be honest though... most HSC english markers are impressed with sophisticated language. To get into the mid-high A range, you need to be writing with a flourish. Just make sure that you're not using that language incorrectly or awkwardly, or else you'll sound like an idiot and it'll cost...
