ive talked to my friends at uts, they love it there too. what would be a good idea is to sneak into lectures, about half way into year 12 i got my hands onto my mates timetable (year above me), i sneaked into lectures and saw which i liked the teaching style better. unsw appealed too me most.

you can major in a language too begin with? i never heard of this international one, it sounds pretty cool though. i would of probably taken it, i might move back too europe after im done with my commerce degree and honours

it varies, half your uai and half your gpa avg. the closer your uai is too the requirement, the less of a higher GPA you need

the other uni's dont have compulsry maths courses, they generally only got stats, unsw has both calc and stats (QMA/QMB) now that first year unsw is over for me, i LOVE it. the grounds are sexy, i have had nothing but positive, motivated, helpful lecturers/tutors, the postgrad tutors will go...

how about economics at unsw? they do exact same core as commerce students for first year

i know macq and unsw have some awesome finance courses from what i heard. i love unsw as a uni, very un-quake2-appearence-like UTS, and very un-cathedral-like USYD

economics and commerce are very similar first year (except if your aiming for like a business law major, you cant do that elective afaik under economics). also its easier said then done that ull thrash first year too transfer too commerce (trust me u suddenly get lazy first year) otherwise :)...
