Check with your teacher what will be in the exam and follow their advice. Before each exam we do our teacher goes through with us what topics will be in the exam and gives us hints on the things we have to include in our reponses like values, context, culture, etc.

Even if you only fail all assessment tasks and exams in ONE subject? And does that happen even if you're doing more than 12 units?

I just remembered in my school's assessment booklet it says a student must successfully complete at least 51% of the course requirements (for a 2 Unit course) and must attend a minimum of 85% of lessons.

Just do all the topic review chapters in your textbook over and over again until you can do them quickly and accurately - without having to check back for references. Also don't do them so much that you memorise the answers lol.
