a question on HSC 2007 paper

water evaporation can also be one... Flame caused some of the water vapours to evaporate, making water cooler than it should be.

    Another question [1 mark]

yeh i dun get that... how would more sample allow greater accuracy.. and i dunno how it relates to standard solution..they're separate things

    Another question [1 mark]

really?.. so do u jus move the ester linkage left and right to obtain the isomer? okay thx what abt question 2?

    Another question [1 mark]

[1] Are there isomers for esters? if so, name an isomer for propyl propanoate [1mark] [2] During your HSC course, u used gravimetric analysis to analyse sulfate content of lawn fertilisers. Student A used 2 grams of fertiliser, precipitated it and found the percentage composition of sulfate...

Help me with his question!! confusing but not hard

    3) A household cleaning agent contains a weak base of general forumla Na2 X. 1.59g of this compound was dissolved in 100 ml of water. A 20ml sample of the solution was titrated with 0.25 mol/L HCl and required 24ml of the acid for neutralisation. a) write neutralisation equation between Na2X...

Subsidies reduce prices and lower inflation?

yeh, buh i think they're talkin abt domestic prices, not world price.. btw.. do u no why we have heavy tariffs on our motor industry and textile industry?? ...... Also, whats the commodity price boom? and whats the resourses boom?? all these terms not related to syllabus is driving me...

A harder 2 unit finance question.. suppose to be easy but.... i cant do it

A loan of $P at an interest rate of R per month is repaid over n monthly instalments of $M a) show that M - (M+P)K^n + P K^(n+1) = 0 where K = 1+R b) Suppose that i can afford to repay $650 per month on a $20000 loan to be paid back over 3 years. Use these figures in the equation above...

ULTRA easy maximun/minumum question i dun get..

let say dV/dt = 2t^2 + 77 t + 3 and u want to find the greatest change in volume.. can u do d2V/dt2 in this case to find the greatest value? wouldnt that mean acceleration though?

ULTRA easy maximun/minumum question i dun get..

oh,so differention of linear funtions won't help you solve max/min problems?.. what if that differentiation equation was a very complicated quadratic .. would d2V/dt2 work to find the greatest change of rate?

Subsidies reduce prices and lower inflation?

omg, economics have always been a double edged sword.. how do u no this occurs instead of that? i mean , why wouldn't reduced market price be smaller than the small increase in expenditure

Subsidies reduce prices and lower inflation?

wel, it says in leading edge textbook that subsides reduce prices and lower inflation ... But i thought subsidies are payments made by government to domestic markets.. so its expenditure.. so it'll have eco growth.. and thus higher inflation

ULTRA easy maximun/minumum question i dun get..

let say you're given the differential equation dV/dt = -120 +2t thats the rate at which the volume decreases .. and you're asked to find the fastest rate at which the volume decreases .. so i differentiate it again .. d2V/dt2 = 2 .. so fastest rate should be at 2 second.. however...
