    Sc Exam Thoughts

Whaa? Argh... the stupid supervisors at my school told me not to write on anything except my answer sheets. Partly the reason I couldn't really do the non-calculator section of the mathematics paper.

School Certificate Done! - We're Free!

Did anyone else think the SC was a waste of time?? All up they took up about 8 hours of my life + another 1 hour for the supervisors to get themselves organised before and after each exam.

    Sc Exam Thoughts

English sucked... I found that the 1st half of the multiple choice the questions were poorly written. Also, the questions seemed to be quite ambiguous in what they were actually asking. Science was easy.

    Count down to the SC

Those online MCQs suck... they give me the same questions even after I've clicked the little box that says something like "Do not give me questions I've already done".

    Count down to the SC

Lol... it's so annoying how the teachers in most subjects start giving assignments out about 1-2 weeks before exams. Well at least they do at my school anyway.

    year 11/12 maths

Yep, we have that for English. Our English faculty told us that you won't be allowed to do Advanced English if you score less than a band 5/6 in the SC. Harsh....so harsh. As for your math's dilemma, just beg, kiss arse, etc .... whatever to the head teacher. They'd have to be pretty evil...

I'm looking forward to year 11 and 12, mainly because I will be doing the subjects that I want to (and no more P.E.!!). I got the subjects I wanted as follows: English (Advanced) English Extension 1 Maths Extension 1 Biology Chemistry Physics Legal Studies (not too different to yours...

    Sc Thinking

What's everyone doing for the remainder of the term after the SC? Year 10 get to go on holidays 2 weeks earlier and apparently we'll be doing some 'senior preparation'.

    Sc Thinking

All we've been doing in school for the past 2 weeks are the old SC papers, so I don't think I'm going to bother doing any study at home. I don't think there's much to study for anyway because I've covered everything in the syllabus.

    Private Teaching - Music

Well I had my first lesson with the aforementioned lady yesterday. I went quite well, better than I expected actually. I couldn't help but be slightly patronising lol, I guess it's a habit. I wonder if I'm charging enough @ $16 per 1/2 hour... according to my sister its a low rate. Also an...
