More like coinciding with Christ Week, how amusing?

    Getting into Commerce at UNSW!

I'd try for arts at UNSW as it is within the same university. No reason in particular though.

Asian guys going out with non-asian girls?

I'll take your word for it. It's not like I've ever salivated at the thought of a black guy's cock before.

    Receptionist Job

Good work. I don't see many people without any previous work experience getting a receptionist job. How did you apply?

I like it how I still get +rep for posts I've made in this thread, especially when such posts are nearly a year old.

Anyone volunteering for Yellow Shirt this year?

No matter what they tell you, they don't pick international students unless they speak fluent english. You will never see your typical fobs in the YS program. As for disabilities however, one of the main facilitators of the program is deaf but you wouldn't really notice as it doesnt detract...

Anyone volunteering for Yellow Shirt this year?

No wonder you didn't get in. You need to be outgoing and extroverted to some extent as the entire oweek is predominantly spent talking to random first years. The YS program never pick people whose English isn't up to scratch. It has to be. Otherwise you won't be able to give a tour or...

Anyone volunteering for Yellow Shirt this year?

Tough luck, I'm afraid. I'll give them credit though for the offer of individual feedback. If you're interested in applying again, ask them for it. I must say this though. For those people who fail to get in, chances are they will keep failing and never get in to YS. No matter what you...

    general UNSW chit-chat

Same. I don't fucking trust anyone at uni. Why would you? Leave your shit on its own and you're asking for it to get stolen.

    general UNSW chit-chat

WTF. Red dust storm. No thanks, I won't be rocking up to uni until my quiz tonight.

    Re-enrolled after 20 years.

Ask a generic question and expect a generic answer. Elaborate on your situation with some more details and we'll be able to do the same thing.

    Getting into Commerce at UNSW!

Try going for economics first as it has a lower ATAR than commerce. If you want to transfer from another degree, you'll be able to do it at the end of 1st year. You'll have a higher chance of getting in to commerce depending on your 1st year marks/ATAR or combination thereof.

    No sex relationships

Chance are, it will probably be shit because you won't have the slightest fucking idea what you'll be doing on your wedding night anyway. Also, since I'm under the impression you've never done it, you won't be aware of the fact that there is a strong chance the girl will be in pain because she...

    Shalom College Interviews

Colleges usually don't get back to you anyway. I applied for New College years ago and never heard jack shit from them. I even called them up and got some weak response that essentially amounted to 'You failed, so yeah' while I was overseas. Not too fussed though as the accomodation itself was...

    accomodation or not??

I don't live in Hornsby but I'm there so often that I know where you're coming from (btw, I'm usually at my gf's house in hornsby during weekends). Hornsby is a bitch but at least it is near a train station. If you do have the money though, then finding a place closer to uni will still be a...

    any point? bcomm/beco double degree

The economics isnt essentially watered down. It just gives you more flexibility in whatever courses you want to do. So if you wanted to challenge yourself, you'd just pick any 3rd Year course you could find.
