The Lost Salt Gift of Blood

hrm not sure. I'm also not sure a quote would really qualify as a related text? You might find it useful to pick something just a tad more substantial...

    I still don't get RFTG...

Crap, I've been giving the same kind of answer to the same kind of questions that have been repeatedly popping up over the last three years? Gah. I knew as the EE1 moderator I shouldn't have bothered to try and be helpful. btw congrats on bumping a thread that was originally posted three...

    shoe size conversions

I've discovered some shoe brands still go by 'old'/smaller sizing... eg I'm a 35 in some (Joanne Mercer), but in others it's a 36 (Mollini). Gah.

    Car Parking - contains ranting

Ah, parking issues. In first year I had some 1pm and 2pm classes... the trick is to arrive 5 mins after the hour, when people are driving home. I could normally get a car park in 5-10 mins. I wasn't a huge fan of it though, even if the drive to uni during midday meant skipping peak hour traffic...

    2007 Meetup time!

yay we won trivia tonight! Three cheers for Steve! (and a small one for my marginally increased ability to pour beer. 1/2cm of foam... got it!)

The Lost Salt Gift of Blood

Hrm I'm not sure how wise it would be to use a core prescribed text for the year and use it as a 'related text', especially as some people will use ALL THREE prescribed text AND a related text :p better pick another one! lol I don't know whether this is a quote per se, but from memory there's a...

Hows your prospects for this semester?

FANTASTIC CHOICE OF ELECTIVE!!! I loved arts100. Everyone's 'art' gets covered, then you do a lot of work on the Australia Council and get to submit a 'grant application'... fun times. :)

    Most commonly craved food?

Over the past four days alone? Scrambled eggs. then - pancakes. then - quiche lorraine. then - scones. tomorrow? Let's wait and see...!! (I do have frequent cravings for fruit juice, but that's more of a daily thing I guess.)

    Travelling....Around the World

platforms are actually coming back in now :P And have been, for at least a season or two. My new shoes are platforms *nods* Normally I'd avoid them though. Walking in any kind of heel - wedges and platforms included - requires a slightly different style of walking and one that's not suited...

    2007 Meetup time!

I REALLY want to be on a team that wins a jug of beer, if only because I want more practice at pouring :( It's really fun, I'm seriously giving thought to taking one of those bartender type courses now...

Maccas has stopped making 'Big Breakfasts', just after I decided I liked them too :( I had scone cravings this morning (just warm scones with butter on them... oh yum), but alas Gloria Jeans wasn't open yet :( so sausage mcmuffin and a hash brown it was.

    Flexible

Hrm I have to disagree with Ninjasauce on some points, having seen many people try to get splits, most achieving but some not. I don't have extensive Point I agree on: * pushing against a stretch. There's even a fancy name for it but I can't remember it off the top of my head...

    Travelling....Around the World

shut up! shut up! I have brand new 11cm heels now (zomg, like the tallest heels I have EVER owned or worn in my whole entire life) and can now see like I have never seen before :P This does of course, raise my height to the far more socially acceptable level of 161 cms. Which is still shorter...

    2007 Meetup time!

dammit iwannarock, we needed you :( We had all kind of obscure questions like 'what was einstein's father's profession', and 'What was the name of Ace Ventura's landlord'.

    Flexible

you'll only tear something if you do something stupid, and by stupid I mean this: a) not warming up properly (warm up for a good 5-10mins before serious stretching. Run around the block or something) b) Pushing past 'good stretchy pain' into 'bad ouchy I'm-going-to-tear-on-you pain'. The...

LOL hell no! That was just breakfast... my breakfasts have been pretty bad lately. And alas, maccas tends to fulfil any cravings I have at the time, so I've been spending way too much time there :/ I'm going to get faaaaaaat and have high cholesterol! :( (halfway there, probably... I've...
