    Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Mixtures :S

@Starrzz But that's like saying, "This sample of the water we got has a much higher acidic content than this other sample from the same source of water. But we can't see any physical differences between the samples, therefore the water is a homogeneous mixture." But for them to be homogeneous...

    Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Mixtures :S

Its just gotten me really confused, because I thought homogeneous mixtures meant like, the air in an enclosed room, something that couldn't be affected by variables such as temperature or pollution. :S

    Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Mixtures :S

Ok ignoring pollution, I guess it makes sense for air, however sea water isn't just made up of salt and water. Fish tend to live in the higher parts of the ocean due to more dissolved oxygen for them to breathe in, rather than the lower depths which have less dissolved oxygen. The ocean floor is...

    Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Mixtures :S

Today in Chemistry, my teacher was teaching us about elements, compounds and mixtures, and he gave examples of Homogeneous and Heterogeneous mixtures. The thing is, I'm not quite sure whether his examples were valid or not. He said that air and sea water was homogeneous. I asked him about those...

My plan is to come home and finish my homework, if the homework takes more than an hour, then continue doing it. If it doesn't, then spend 1-2 hours studying, plus an extra 1-2 hours studying maths (accelerated student :S I have my Maths HSC this year) On weekends, it'll be maths, Maths...

I finished my Jacaranda Chemistry 1 textbook by doing 1 chapter a day, not more than an hour of work o_O That's studying I guess... I have this crazy friend who claims that he did like his whole Prelim course or something...

How will you organize your stuff?

I have one big folder (400 sheets) that I'm going to take to school, complete with dividers and looseleaf paper, and 7 smaller folders at home (1 for each of my subjects, and an extra one for holding past assessments and assignments). Plus, I have a couple of A5 128pg exercise books that I can...

Steel rulers are awesome, I love using them! I'll have to buy a new one though because I lost my old 4-year old one from Year 7 on the last week of Term 4 :S I was hoping it could last me till Year 12 :(
