probably not, can't be bothered finding out... wouldn't want to go to another store, i like mine. have the best managers. ... would still have to get trained in systems anyway - all i know how to do is print tickets, change prices, do comms and that's about it... i mean i've looked at their...

So when I'm coming back from holidays I'm losing my non-trade shifts.. going from 38 hours to 0 :( I hate phoenix. People with systems knowledge took priority over me... And we have a new CSM, bit undecided about her - today she calls me down for an express alert and asks if I'm register...

^ Haha, some lady called and said she was shortchanged $10 last THURSDAY.. wtf? Anyway, when we went back to check the results for last week turned out that till hadn't changed all week, haha. The thing about green bags is they're actually WORSE for the environment because they take much...

haha yeah, it just changes all the words into woolworths jargon instead of the default wording the company that makes the software uses... like instead of "POS Declaration" or something woolworths language makes it "Spot-check Register"

I guess it's more convenient than keeping track of dockets, plus you can link cards together so you can share fuel offers so if the wife does the shopping but the husband fills the car up they don't need to keep passing the card between them because they're linked. Can't share QFF points though...

Yep, the spot is made up of two different colour spots.. I will take a picture of the brochure tomorrow incase people don't see it at their store :) and they have new badges too, stainless steel ones (like BigW) Edit: well, from afar they will look pretty similar, but when you get up close you...

    Rules for Customers

I usually do, unless I'm in the middle of something, then I will just tell them which aisle, which side, how far down, which shelf.. I pretty much know where most things are. If I don't know where it is exactly, I will go down and find it with the customer, that way I know for next time. Fail...

Sure can, as long as you have available hours. I've worked in other stores when they were desperate for a close supervisor. Haha, they used to have a CSM badge, but haven't seen that in a long time. Okay, at our store whoever is on service has to wear a vest, but only 1 person at 1 time (if...

Oh and the stripey shirt is for Service Manager, Service Supervisors, SSM, STM, SM, according to the brochure. But it could be dependent on your store. I don't think they want supervisors at our store to wear them... but I guess if we're wearing them we can do away with vests... despite the fact...

Hm, will try tomorrow.. lol. We have 3 people in the office on Mondays.... and only 2 computers, it's a bit annoying. Someone will be doing systems, the other payroll and I will be trying to do final cash up... would have been good if they put a second phone in during the refurb, but ah well...

Oh, we used to have really old Telstra Commander phones, lol, now we have LG Aria... but we don't have cordless phones and they can't page over the PA.. as far as I know they can't.. :S I wish we had cordless phones... would be so good. Also a second phone in the cash office would be excellent...

When you go to your tea break, get the cash and bring it back with you. Or when you finish your shift, etc. Yeah, discrepencies over $20 should be formally investigated by the CSM. That said, I get really frustrated when supervisors don't check their counts when it's $10 short or so.. most of...

That's all you can do. Make them cough it up or put one back. Or you could put it in yourself, but I wouldn't do that for those kids... I've only done that when it's a little kid and they're 10c short. Definitely never for cigarettes.

haha, yeah the judge the restaurant chef guy is doing ads for coles at the moment going on about their fresh produce.. i'm thinking, there's no way he uses their produce in his restaurant - he would get everything from the markets.
