ECON111 in retrospect is easy, if u can understand the diagrams and can put in words what is actually happening, u will do well. If u can't survive 111 then 2nd and 3rd year econ will kill you. For those contemplating econ200, theres a massive leap in difficulty compared to 111.

I have checked the requirements, it looks like it will be mostly for interntional students. goakoa (chinese equivilant to UAI) score of under 500, that is 500/1000 (correct me if i am wrong), the distribution of such scores are uniform. So expect alot of cashed up...

The ECON201 unit will be the easiest unit u ever did....just memorise memorise memorise, a tactic that will fail u for econ309.....but still works when it comes back around to econ311...

Thx for the tips, I have completed Law Lawyers and Society last year when i transferred, where the second half of the course was full on about how lawyers should act, ethics and the legal profession regulations etc. I doubt i can do remedies until my last year, it requires 12cp from law...

I almost forgot, theres a subject called acst101 that nearly all commerce students has to do. Its a course that turns u into a human calculator for all financial instruments. Keep that in mind when u start doing the financial maths in 2u maths, stuff like compound interest rates...

Can u do some basic integration? integrate x squred? or find the the derivative of x cubed? if u can thats all u need. They will give a revenue curve soemthing like a quadratic and they will ask u to find the marginal revenue which is the derivative of the quadratic and in linear form...
