If English wasn't compulsory, would you do it?

That's true but still I think more posters would want to do the subject if it were more perhaps "useful" post high school. I loved English but I know a lot of people who didn't because they couldn't relate to the subject matter or the way in which it was taught. I'm referring to the state...

If English wasn't compulsory, would you do it?

Um. I'm all for English being taught, just not the current curriculum. Also, sarcasm? Or does that not compute? In regards to syntax and grammar, that is primary school failing you, another complete fuckup of the education system. Read my next post, if the current English curriculum was...

    It's the economy, stupid?

And if we all want to remember who is in the State Government at the moment.... Labor! That's right. Educational reform has been proposed by the Federal Government and shot down by the State. So what do you suggest should happen Nebuchanezzar?

    Any HGB fans?

Eh. That's still a lot for a band that's not that fantastic and isn't that well known.

If English wasn't compulsory, would you do it?

Thus bringing up my point that the English curriculum from K-12 should be overhauled in the move to federalisation. Alas, no one ever listens.

I'm doing all my shopping on another continent sweetie. It's called New York boutiqes and Seattle thrift store fun. Plus, those shoes are drool worthy and I personally love the yellow dress/top thing. I can't wear yellow but those that could? It'd look fucking fantastic on them.

If English wasn't compulsory, would you do it?

Most people can't spell very well, have a limited vocabulary and don't often read anything further than the newspaper, which means they're not helping themselves in the first two problems. This is all post high school So like, you're fucked anyways who cares?

Changing the way you look to suit your age

I'm the same, baby face and I live in jeans & a tshirt most of the time and get carded as such. However, I've never been carded when in my "corporate" uniform, black pants/skirts & a blouse of some sort with heels. Most people at my work also thought I was 19-20 when I started. That leads...

    Canada

Do you have a specific place in Canada where you'd like to go? It's a big country. I'd recommend Vancouver and Montreal (Quebec, the francophone area is amazing) as the two best places (imo). Toronto's not bad. In terms of flights the best flight is probably Sydney - San Francisco - Vancouver...

    Stalin

Not bad. I don't think you make enough of an arguement but that's hard because well Stalin was an asshole and this only good thing he did was win WWII. In your conclusion you need to state what the positive changes were

    2007 Poets

You've completely edited it? Wow. Thats absolutely shocking. Plus I bet when you read over it right before you hand it in, you'll be like "I want to change this and this and this." Keep editing it before you hand it in, it'll help keep it all fresh and cohesive.

    Stalin

Remember that there was no unemployment too, it was a crime to be unemployed. Stalin had everyone working, something that can be seen to be a good thing. Sorry for like ... sort of critiquing your essay.
