Yeah definitely DO NOT MISS O-WEEK!! It's seriously one of the most fun weeks ever. Apparently Anh Do is the comedian this year for the comedy night, should be good.

It's as safe as anywhere. Obviously, don't walk around with too many valuables or large amounts of cash... anyone can get robbed at any time. Don't go out late at night alone etc... just use common sense and don't walk around with your ipod hanging out and carrying a laptop, as Josie said.

One you have to take at least one major in an Economic area (Econometrics, Economic History, Economics... etc). One you don't. Really it's not hard to find the difference by looking at handbooks that have descriptions of the degrees.

What are you combining law with? arts/law? Should be fine really. Just keep on top of the languages.

Re: Timetable issues There is no enrolment day, it's all done online. If you made it into uni, you should be smart enough to work it out yourself. If you're still having trouble with the handbook... give the faculty a call.

Definitely get yourself a PC if you can. You'll have heaps of time for gaming. Just manage your time well and prioritse uni work before games (easier said than done).

I believe someone on this forum recently said it was fairly easy to do an internal transfer, an average of about 60 should be sufficient. But don't take my word for it, that's just from hear-say.
