    Help! Related Material for Frontline

*raises eyebrow* so you've looked at the "telling the truth - related texts" sticky and can't find anything you could use? Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you need to have a bit of a think about what you think the module is asking you to do :/ Having posted in the sticky myself, I...

How are you enjoying semester 2?

ahahahahaha BBA111... one of the bludgiest subjects I've ever done. If you're creative, the groupwork is fun because it'll give you a little "outlet" :) enthusiasm is a must though, otherwise it's just :P lol

    The MQ Get Healthy/Study Thread

old and boring ftl :( However - if simple chocolate isn't your thing anymore, have you ever had chocolate fondue or chili chocolate? Or even chocolate panna cotta? I'm a wimp when it comes to spices so chili chocolate isn't really my thing but I have some friends who think it is divine...

Anyone remember 'Conformity and the Individual'?

Yr 11 modules are actually created by the high schools themselves - whilst it's unlikely that your Yr 11 module is "redundant" (seeing as it wasn't generally used in the first place) it's more likely that only your high school was/is doing it :)

How to structure an essay for critical readings

This is purely my opinion on it: If the question asks you to structure your argument from one angle in particular (eg "A study of Yeats' poems blahblahblah, discuss in relation to 2 additional texts") then you definately want to structure your argument around Yeats. Now whether this means...

    knitwear for spring

I've spent that much on light knitwear before :) It'd have to be pretty damn good for me to go over the $50 mark though.

I'm not much of a candy person either, however I'll admit I'm an opportunist. When I see chocolate, I never go "oh no, I shouldn't..." instead it's always "yay! chocolate! Can I have some?" :D In other news I woke up this morning and discovered all the homemade chicken soup is totally gone :(

    Cutting Costs

ouch lengy, that's bad :/ Are you looking at getting a part time job? Where's your weekly money coming from these days? Jebbie, something else you can try is getting rid of that debit card (come on - it's possible to live without online shopping :p) and putting a photo of something you really...

    Cutting Costs

part time jobs ftw. I didn't really ever work until this year, and now I have no idea what I'd do without the extra $$$ per week... What I do in tight spots is to take money out of my purse and hide it somewhere so I physically can't spend it on anything (I also don't have a credit card...

The "how to be sick and dying at uni" thread

glitterberries, huh? No wonder you're feeling so good! :p In other news, my voice is officially bad/non-existent enough for my mum to not recognise me on the phone :p (those of you who've met me know that I have a pretty... recognisable voice lol)

The "how to be sick and dying at uni" thread

happily I haven't been coughing much today, but whatever I did yesterday (and only yesterday, wasn't coughing prior to that) must have pushed it over...weird, I've coughed worse for several days straight and never lost my voice from it before. Mike's right, this is a really screwed up strain...

The "how to be sick and dying at uni" thread

Well, I caved in last night and took some cough medicine. I just figured "this is no way to live!", and was able to sleep after two tablespoonfuls of cough medicine :) On the "bright" side I have woken up with no voice. *raises eyebrow*

The "how to be sick and dying at uni" thread

the thing about me and cough medicine is that it becomes a dependancy. I start off with normal dosage. Within a few days it's gone to double-dosages. By the end of the week I'm drinking straight from the bottle basically every hour :( I'm sure that's not good...

The "how to be sick and dying at uni" thread

I'm actually finding it harder and harder to go to sleep as my cough gets worse :( either I wake up in the night sporadically, coughing so hard that I can't breathe for a few seconds (yeah, that's fun) or having such a dry throat that it's too uncomfortable to sleep. sickness FTL :(...

The "how to be sick and dying at uni" thread

yeah :( Damn, I'm beginning to feel worse now than I did earlier today (and I'm finally on drugs now). What the hell is going on? It's not quite a relapse because symptoms aren't the same as when I started getting sick, but it's like, mutating into this other stupid sickness now... this sucks...
