    General thoughts: HSC chemistry 2015

I did not expect that at all, lol. I kept thinking that they'll be really evil like what they did with a lot of my exams, so I studied the small details. The exam becomes a luck game if you're a normal procrastinating person like me who begins studying the day before. I guess I won the lottery...

    General thoughts: HSC chemistry 2015

I have no idea. I don't know how this works. I am pretty confident my minimum raw mark would be about 94. (Silly mistakes are bound to occur.) I only need an 87 aligned though, so anything I get above is just a bonus. And yes, I memorized every nook and cranny of the syllabus, lol.

What? I thought that was an unusually easy exam. I just spewed out answers left and right.

    Prediction for Chem Exam

I mean it's like an open book exam, I guess.

    Prediction for Chem Exam

Well it would be a free 7 marks by just copying the periodic table sheet at the very back.

    Prediction for Chem Exam

What was last year's 7 marker for Shipwrecks and Corrosion? If it's not this one, then maybe the restoration and preservation techniques.

How are Chemistry and science exams in general marked?

Are they checked per question? Are markers given whole exams?

Holy crap I lost three marks for nothing. I started with this then I thought that it wasn't going to work. I'm a dumbass.

We will never know the final result until the actual day. Please do yourselves a favor and accept that you did your best, and you cannot change it. Stress is the last thing you want to do in the HSC. While most of these people are talking about how they're getting 95+ raw, I'm sure half of them...

    Math HSC 2013 Question 16?

Also, in the 2012 exam paper, I don't understand how it went from the third line of the solution to the fourth line in Question 15 (c)(iii). http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/hsc_exams/hsc2012exams/pdf_doc/mathematics-hsc-sample-answers-12.pdf

    Math HSC 2013 Question 16?

How would one even think of doing that? Maybe doing the "Prove that ...=..." in reverse?

    Math HSC 2013 Question 16?

I mean I did not understand why they added the two identities together.

    Biology exam thoughts

I swear to God that was the dumbest multiple choice question. Cell wall = fungi? But no nucleus = bacteria? But larger than RBC = fungi? Although it did put a red blood cell beside it, and the purpose of the question was mainly the size. The cell wall was just a hint. Therefore it must be...

    Math HSC 2013 Question 16?

So I've done Questions 15 and 16 last night. All questions were pretty straight forward, except for the very last one: http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/hsc_exams/2013/pdf_doc/2013-hsc-maths.pdf I believe it was Question 16 (c)(ii). I did realise the ratios, but the marking criteria...

How Much Detail When Asked to "Sketch"?

I did just that but it looked like it lacked too much detail. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks! :)

How Much Detail When Asked to "Sketch"?

Note taken. It was a lake trout - I always had trouble with the lake trouts.

How Much Detail When Asked to "Sketch"?

I see. I was looking at this question from HSC 2013: Question 16 (b) (iii) Sketch the number of trout as a function of time. (1 mark)
