I finished my half-yearlies a week ago.
Tips:
1) Get a good night sleep
2) Have a good breakfast
3) Get up early and memorise essays/ revise stuff
4) Just close your eyes and relax when you get into the exam hall.
5) You still have the trials and the HSC exam, so dont overwork yourself...
I was to choose a text I would choose A Clockwork Orange or The Picture of Dorian Gray, two of the most interesting novels I have read.
And 1984 as well, but we actually did that at school :D
Its a novel about themes of teenage confusion, angst, alienation, and rebellion. Its quite good for identity, imo.
Sorry im not really into visuals, but you could do Mean Girls or ask google.
I'll be giving it a shot, I initially wanted to med but now im more inclined towards genetic engineering and medicinal chem. Just in case i change my mind, im doing the UMAT.
I found chemistry really hard in Yr 11 too coz i honestly didnt enjoy it.
But, Yr 12 chemistry is really interesting and imo easier than yr 11 chem till now.
For sciences i make notes in the holis before we start the new module and i keep making notes as we go as well. The problem with me is that i can make the notes but i never go over them. Like during exams and stuff i never look over the notes, i just do like past papers and dotpoint book.
Nope, i have next week off coz some ppl still have some exams. But, i do have school after that for 3 weeks and then holis :) and in between those 3 weeks i have two science assessments.
Yeah its unfair, but teachers now a days are too lazy to even teach.
Just self study thats the only way. With history its easier to self study imo, just read through your textbooks and other books on Nehru and you'll be fine :)
I do both chemistry and biology, and the combination is great. I find that chemistry helps me quite a bit in biology. Do Bio, even though physics is better scaling. Bio is more fun and interesting but it also has a lot of memorising :)
