    Hows everyone finding legal studies?

The preliminary course is boring, however Crime in Yr 12 is pretty good.

What you doing for the rest of the term?

We have this program in Week 7 - 9, where we get this timetable for our Yr 11 subjects and we go to those classes. Apparently, we are not learning the content, we are learning skills that are apparently going to help us a lot in the next few years; no idea what that means.

Will Economics overwhelm me the next 2 years?

I have heard that there is heaps of content. I don't really have a good memory. I love Eco and I want to do it, and I don't think I shouldn't do it just because I can't remember stuff easily. Any tips/advice on how to memorize heavy content?

Should I bother studying for SC?

I'm not as smart as all people on this forum though. I haven't paid attention in class this year, so I don't think I'll be getting Band 5's and 6's in everything. I absolutely hate Australian History and Geography; it is so boring. Maths and English should be fine.

Can you accelerate in Year 11?

Like do the HSC course in Prelim? And if you are, does it count towards your ATAR and HSC?

Should I bother studying for SC?

I don't really care about it; it's an pointless exam. My trials are in like Week 1 Term 4 and the actual thing is in about Week 5 of next term or so. All my friends are studying, but I don't really want to. Thoughts? The subjects are really boring and dry. It can't possibly help me in any way...

What would a raw mark of 75 and 70 in the external exam of Eco align to?

And what would the aligned marks scale to?

How much study do you do per day in Yr 11?

The thing is; whenever I start an assignment/homework, when I start it, I just do it and don't look back, taking breaks in between. But just the thought of getting out of my seat and getting the stuff out of my bag, I just get so lazy.

How much study do you do per day in Yr 11?

LOL, of course I plan to do that; I will try to deal with all my "issues" in year 11 and rectify them so I don't have to deal with them in HSC time.

How much study do you do per day in Yr 11?

Okay, but it is for surely not 3+ hours a day or more? Why burn yourself out like that when nothing in Year 11 counts?

How much study do you do per day in Yr 11?

About half an hour a day, or maybe an hour? I'm in year 10 and a few months ago, we had this study skills program where this woman said that Year 11 is so much work, and like 3+ hours, and those who are really motivated, its like 4+ hours. Is there really need for you to burn yourself out...

Help in choosing subjects? What scales good and bad?

Really? I do 5.2 Maths and not doing very well in it (not because I don't know what to do it, but because I cripple under exam pressure, and often forget everything once I sit the test.) My school goes on and on about how Mathematics is extremely hard, and that if you're in 5.2 Maths, you should...

How do I solve this problem?

I think you would be the only one who thinks that, so thank you for believing in me:) My tutor said that I shouldn't even be thinking about Extension 1:(

How do I solve this problem?

That's exactly what I am doing, infact even as I type this, I am listening to music. I don't work hard because I'm kind of lazy, but I understand all the concepts taught in Maths in class perfectly fine. I have chosen Advanced Maths next year, and praying I will be able to cope with it because I...
