How difficult is MATH132? I did 4u maths in year 12 but didn't do too well (1 mark off an e3) though that was bc I was pretty much without a teacher and self taught in that subject. I got a high e3 (2 marks off an e4) in 3u though. Would I be able to cope with MATH132, or should I do...

So what activities is everyone signed up for, what are you looking forward to, etc.?

Basically everyone's reaction when they hear that I'm going to do law is "wtf are you crazy, you're setting yourself up for a major breakdown" And I get that it probably isn't as bad as most people think but how bad is it really?

I'm trying to order a concession opal card, but Macquarie isn't on the list, even though the website says that Macq is rolling them out. Do we need to wait till the 23rd to get them or something??

I've done the whole registering for enrolment thing and I got a confirmation saying that I can enrol via estudent, but when I log in and try I get the message "click 'choose' if available" and basically nothing to choose :/ Does this mean I can't enrol online? And the Macq help people have...

So I really want to do combined Law & Science at MQ but the cut-off is 95.9 and I only got 94.9. According to everyone I spoke at open day apparently MQ law doesn't accept bonus points so my only chance seems to be pre-law. What's the chance of me being accepted into it and what is it exactly? What do you reckon sections 3 and 4 will focus on?

I've heard so many times that HSC is always a little easier than trials (CSSA) but other people say that this isn't true.... So... Is it? Esp. with something like 3U which was a killer during trials this year

So I get that your marks go to the Board of Studies, along with your rank in your cohort. And when you sit the HSC, 50% is your exam mark and 50% is based on your rank and how the rest of your cohort did and all that... But in my MX2 class, I'm the only person in the cohort, which makes my...

So who's started getting results back??? So far I got legal (96%) and MX2 (49%.... Lollllll) but the cssa has some stupid security block, so we can't actually get any paper back till monday :( How'd you all go?

Too bloody long, no one in my class finished :( I've never had a problem with finishing any exam, let alone a 3U... Usually have around 10 minutes at the end to check over, but had to leave almost 15 marks today :/ and I know that some of my answers are wrong It doesn't help that my school...

It was a really good exam, and the questions were pretty broad, which made them a lot easier to understand :) but I have a feeling that I answered the section 3 question on ethical teachings wrong :/ what did everyone else write for this?

So my essays for SOR in the exams are about 600-700 words for the last two sections but I'm worried that they are too short :/ am I just being OCD about it or should I aim for longer responses to be able to better equip myself for the 20/20??? Thanks!
