To be completely honest, I'm torn on this. I think that for the marks you recieved it was quite unfair to give you a 50s UAI, but I guess that reflects just how competitive the state is now, and how important it is to "play the system". HOWEVER... It is becomming critically important to know...

There is little chance of PREDICTING them, all you can do is apply for them in preference order - thats why you have 9 preferences. Just put them down in order - no harm can come to you for it. Not putting them down would just kill your chances down to 0%.
