unfortunately no, depends on what your art work is exactly, but apparently they take all the works with an appropriate mark and then check if each one is suitable, if not no preselection. Harsh i think since some great work may be unsuitable but thats that...

well, depending on whether or not your artwork was sent to the marking centre, your teacher will be able to tell if it didnt come back with everyone else's. In addition you will get a letter in the next couple of days probably before you sit the art history exam. Good luck to everyone on friday

well, at my school some people have already got preselection whilst other studios hadn't been marked as of that time. So i think there may be some spots that haven't been offered yet

my teacher was at the marking centre for photography this year and found out that it was in that mark range required for art express consideration. However people can still get over that mark and not be invited though because the exhibition is g-rated and some material is obviously not suitable

Yeh, i got preselection too. This year pre-selection equates to a mark of between 47/50 and 50/50 for photography at least.

Anyone else found out yet whether or not they are up for consideration for Art Express? You will know if your work hasnt't been sent back with everyone else in your school.

yeh i do agree with you in general that it was a dodgy question, however after looking at the map of canada, and specifically vancouver you could see latitude was approx 50N. From that i got 3pm and am quite certain that it is definetly not 9am, it could be 12 because the sun is on a different...

You shouldnt have any problems, 2 friends do the same one in yr 11 one in yr12 and its worth doing otherwise slog it out on sat/sun
