Did I say that they aren't able to? No.
Did I say that it would be more difficult to argue their case? Yes.
For me, personally, as I have clearly expressed, this has been the case.
So from a personal and completely subjective perspective;
Public>Private/Selective.
I'm not saying that they can't...
For example...

How do you suggest one completes 600 hours in 1 semester? A full-time student attends for up to 24 hours.
600/20 = 30 weeks
600/24 = 25 weeks
It's still over 1 semester.
Diploma takes 2 years of...
Re: Felt Tip Pins etc?
You don't have to be doing math to need a calculator. Other subjects like business or economics or sciences require calculators occasionally.
Anyway.
Felt tip pens, when under pressure (assuming you're going to put a lot of sweaty strain onto the pen during an exam)...
If you have your HSC, you can go straight into a Diploma course.
Otherwise, since you only have your SC, you'll need to start with a CertIII before moving onto a CertIV and eventually a Diploma course.
So you can either do your HSC, finish it, and go into a Diploma course; a total of 3 years...
Firstly, quoting the Scots site is not helping you any - every school will state they are providing excellent teachers, boast about their extra-curricular activities, etc. But when people with crap teachers come out with a 99+ UAI, it clearly indicates performance is based on the student's...
And, as you quoted, I did say the restrictions were related to the perceived prestigious image. I think you're overwhelming yourself here.
I don't think "public image" is right, when it comes to speaking of private/selective schools. "Prestigious image" would be more correct. I'm not saying...
According to the UAC late round offers for year beginning 2008, there were likely to be vacancies in this combined program as well as just the IT program in the final round. This could change in a year or two. But generally, UTS is mostly competitive for communication and design programs.
Last I remember, there wasn't an HSC examination on social skills. No such paper exists. They do not assess your social skills, self-esteem and confidence. This should not be a factor in determining excellence in the HSC or any other examination for that matter.
The "quality" of teachers you...
This thread doesn't make sense. The title is misleading.
The title asks who performs better in the HSC then the OP goes into social and communication skills.
There are some pretty shit private schools out there. And there are some excellent public schools out there (e.g. Burwood Girls who...
What's the difference between the SoA and the CertIII, when it comes to HSC courses? Are they the same thing?
The SoA is available via OTEN (distance-ed) and the CertIII isn't.
I hope the SoA is "legit" with the BOS and all? Contributes to UAI, etc (board-developed courses, of course).

Read if you cbf, I cbf.
Come on gifted and talented kids, drop the books and start socialising! Great communication and problem-solving skills will get you the job, not the prestige of James Ruse!
It would be hard. I guess I could tell them to smother some of the stuff on before they mark it. They'll do whatever you want.
Oh? What might this chemical be?
