Most universities require a certain amount of work experience done during your study time. Check course requirements. They are different for every uni

while UTS has a system to help you with finding an internship, you still have to look for one yourself and do all the legwork yourself. it's basically just finding a job. so yes decent grades are preferable (obviously someone with credit or distinctions will take precedence over someone with...
At this point, I'd say try to apply for everything and see how that goes. If they accept you then take it. Otherwise, there are different pathways you can go eg. TAFE, cadet/apprenticeship, Insearch to name a few.
Unfortunately I can't really help you on the bolded subjects as I don't study that particular field. I have done Electronics and Circuits, and am doing EEF next semester. I have a few friends who have done EEF and can give you their feedback.

Sorry for hijacking, but how do i enrol into a class which is full? The system somehow booted me out of the class and now I can't get back in T_T. It's the only class! I have 1 slot for it, but it's a seminar (what's a seminar??) and there are no details on it. So the staff are TBA, and there's...
if you want to use a laptop for rendering instead of doing it at uni you could do that, or you could take stuff home and do it there. really does depend on preference. try both methods in the first week or two and see what happens?
Well apparently I don't need engineering your future cos it's kinda pointless. I can get the book for cheaper, but if the maths lab thing is necessary, then i'd have to get that as well as the book :(
I'm doing this now so I'm not caught in the rush for books when everyone wants them. Then...
Engineering Your Future an Australasian Guide + Sustainability SupplementDowlingCalculus For Engineers + Mymathlab Student Access Kit (package)
question is, is the supplement and access kit necessary? i gathered that wileyplus is compulsory, so i'll probably get that separately.
thx
Well eg. for the subject 331310 I have Lec1 02 and Lec2 01. The 02 and 01 are the different times for the lectures. I'm just wondering if there's a difference between Lec1 and Lec2. =]
This is such a dead forum <.<
Anyway, so I've done the readiness survey and I haven't been given my results. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing (possibly good since that means they haven't emailed me saying I need to drop maths modelling 1?). Do I just go ahead and enrol and...
Can't you change your timetable using My Subject Activities? Not too sure about "final" timetables. It seems you can just change your timetable whenever. Maybe you can't after census date? Definitely ask at O-week next week.

I've just finished my HSC, graduating from James Ruse Agricultural High School so I still have all
my notes fresh in my memory. Lessons can take place in the form of home visits or in public
libraries.
