This is such a dead forum <.<

Anyway, so I've done the readiness survey and I haven't been given my results. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing (possibly good since that means they haven't emailed me saying I need to drop maths modelling 1?). Do I just go ahead and enrol and get student ID card tomorrow at O-week?

2nd > For a particular subject (when allocating my classes) there's Lec01, Lec02, Lab etcetc. Obviously I get that Labs, workshops and lectures are different things, but for lec01 and lec02, are those the same lectures or different ones eg. with different lecturers? Is different material covered or not?

Thanks in advance, and please more people in this forum XD

I'm not an engineering student, for 1) I would assume so,
2) it will say Lec 01, 01 or Lec 01, 02, this means that the lecture content is the same just different timings, usually (99%) the same lecturer & pretty sure you should've enrolled by now, all you need to get is the ID card.

There's usually only 1 lecture for each subject so it shouldn't be an issue, "My Subject Activities" shows you how many lectures/tutes/seminars you have anyway, impossible to miss it.

Well eg. for the subject 331310 I have Lec1 02 and Lec2 01. The 02 and 01 are the different times for the lectures. I'm just wondering if there's a difference between Lec1 and Lec2. =]

No. 2u. 20 multiple choice, 50 mins, no calculator. Paper and pen allowed. It's quite easy

If it lets you pick both simultaneously then there probably is.

A friend of mine failed the math modelling (either 1 or 2, not sure) last year so don't slack off with it.
