I did 2 and 3 unit maths last year....but am doing 4 unit this year... But what happens to my 3u mark which was out of 50?? Do they just double it to make it out of 100, or do they add 50 to your mark??

If you do music 2 for yrs11-12, you have to do sight-singing or some sort of singing in the aural parts?? I'm really NOT a singer (probably tone deaf too...) so what should i do???? :( What sort of compulsory singing is part of the music 2 course?

i absolutely love sight reading!!!!!!!!!!!! (im pretty good at it) i have no idea what i'd do if i couldn't just pick up a song and play it... yeh but i so wish i had perfect pitch - its something i really suck at... oh well, still working on it i suppose!

circle geometry is the best!!! all you have to do is look at a picture and figure out angles and stuff... oh yeah, permutations and combinations and probability are the ultimate WORST!!!! THEY ARE SOOO HARD!!!! i never know what i should do and when...i hate it...

What extension 1 maths topic do you find the hardest??? And why? For me...I'd probably say motion...there's so much manipulation and stuff involved it's so annyoing!!

Maths in Focus is probably okay to start with (in like yr 11...) But don't stick with it for too long otherwise when you start doing trial papers and past hsc papers they're guna seem so frikin hard!! As to which is the best txtbook...really hard to choose I reckon it's best to use a...

110/120...kinda disappointing. especially coz all my mistakes were SO STUPID!!! according to my mind during the exam: 2x0=2 what the hell???? :evilfire: yeah well i was still top of my class, so i guess that ok then...

lol no worries i totally failed too!! I reckon the past cssa papers were heaps easier compared to this one. The binomial q's and projectile motion q's and shm q's and probability q's killed me...loved the circle geometry question though!! :haha:

just wondering how important your rank is during the school assessments, and if it affects you overall marks. And can you switch between ranks in your class? (like go higher or lower if you do better than other people :confused:
