Hi... I'm currently working at a maccas but would like to transfer to a one nearer my new home. I've been working at maccas for only 2 months now. How do I transfer?
True but most people (who are unable to pay full fee) get a free (or near-free) ride if they get accepted into Harvard, Yale, Princeton or Dartmouth. My cousin studies at Yale and the school even paid for her airfare and a sleek MacBook. *jealous*
For certain, competitive career fields, it does matter where your degree comes from, e.g. law or business. But for most technical fields, such as medicine and engineering, uni does not matter at all.
So which ones do you think is easier to get into?
I'm not asking this because I'm lazy, but because if I miss out once, I'll have to wait a whole year before I can try again, and as a grad, that doesn't sound too nice.
Currently I'm studying Bachelor of Engineering at Deakin University. I want to study Medicine after I complete my Bachelor's degree. Can you people please advice me on the following:
How good result do I need to have in my Bachelor's to be competitive enough for medicine admission?
How is the...
I'm going there in Feb 09 to study Electrical Engineering, but I don't have a good idea on the university's reputation, prestige and social life. Any ideas? Thanks.
