None of the Kensington Colleges are Religious. It can be noisy at times but for the most part you can get a study done, or you can go out, both are an option everyday of the week. I googled last year's UNSW O week and just as pretty much everyone assumed all the good events are 18+. However on the night of the biggest party they had laser skirmish on the pool lawn that was all ages. Same for this year according to their facebook page...

I know a fair few people who are doing that, or they've changed uni perferences so they are going to the same uni as their boyfriend/girlfriend. I think it's perfectly fair enough of you want to do that. But personally there is nothing and no one who could stop me from leaving my town haha
