    China :)

Nah, for most of them it's all there, you just have to look a little bit harder. The only exceptions are countries with no functional government (DRC, Somalia) or who cut themselves off from the world (North Korea).

    China :)

China is gay. There will be hundreds of thousands of other students doing China. Focus on somewhere cool, like Turkey, Georgia, Ghana, Angola etc. Not only are they rockin' and deserve more limelight than they get, you won't be handing in the same boring shit as every other student and the...

    UNSW Subject Reviews.

Haven't done 3104 but I can tell you that whilst 3101 is interesting it's also as easy as shit. I got 92. It all just plugging numbers into formulas and finding *basic* first derivatives.

    Exam gloating/whinging thread

If it's just a free option and you have 12 units to spend, I would recommend Experimental Economics (prerequisite) and then Behavioural Economics instead. They're good courses run by Andreas Ortmann and it's basically a continuation of one into the other. They also teach you a lot more than...

What Timetable Variation Do You Think Is Best?

Day off in between. Allows you to focus on one subject at a time, rather than doing them all on the weekend. Ideal timetable is mon, wed, fri.

What to eat before a test?

Doesn't control for placebo effect. Assumes poor results after first half hour due to nutrition, but there could be other reasons (harder questions, how do they know which part of exam done first?). Results unknown; given they weren't advertised, the results probably showed no effect - selection...

What to eat before a test?

Pretty sure you'll find it's a placebo effect. I'd love to see an experiment where subjects are given an exam to do then all are given the same meal, 1/3 told it'll increase performance, 1/3 told it will decrease and 1/3 told nothing and then they have to do an exam again. Would put money on...

What to eat before a test?

Who cares? Knowing the material and getting a good night's sleep will do far more than a banana to help.

I know both these degrees are "shiz" in terms of job prospects, which one is better?

Re: I know both these degrees are "shiz" in terms of job prospects, which one is bett How does medicine have bad job prospects? Even if places in the top hospitals are limited, there is huge demand for doctors in rural Australia, as well as well-trained ones overseas. As for pharmacy, the...

I know both these degrees are "shiz" in terms of job prospects, which one is better?

Re: I know both these degrees are "shiz" in terms of job prospects, which one is bett You still didn't say whether "shiz" is good or bad in the given circumstance. Given that both degrees commonly lead to a lot of personal contact with patients and customers, based upon your comprehension of...
