    General Thoughts: Business Studies

From memory that happened in a PDHPE paper a few years back :)

Also, anyone by chance have a PDF copy of the paper. As far as I'm able to search the Facebook/here/elsewhere, one hasn't been uploaded yet.

    General Thoughts: Business Studies

Haha that's my picture! My school bought the paper from WeSSSTA (Western Sydney Social Sciences Teachers Association, see http://www.wesssta.net/). My teachers insist it's a complete coincidence, but it seems too far fetched if you ask me!

    Help- miscellaneous questions on eco

The equilibrium level of income (Y) is where C+I=Y. If we substitute the values for consumption (C) and investment (I) into this equation, we can solve it and calculate the equilibrium level of income. (C)+(I)=(Y) (100+0.8Y)+(40)=(Y) (100)+(40)=(Y)-(0.8Y) 140=0.2Y Y=140/0.2 Y=700million :)

    Music 2 Exam General Thoughts

Loved it, especially that Shostakovich piece in Q2! Already knowing the piece in the dictation question is truly a blessing! That excerpt in Q3 comes close to being the worst piece of music I've heard in my life! Ugh the score was way too long, overwhelmingly too much to talk about. Again...

    It's over!

Both excerpts in Q2 were from Shostakovich's Suite for Jazz Orchestra No. 1, the 'Waltz' movement. By sheer luck that just happens to be one of my favourite pieces, so you can imagine my joy seeing that for dictation in reading time! See https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3tGOFEgDzug

Integration Question (Sum + Difference of Areas)

Cheers for the quick response! Just one other question. Find the area of the region between the graphs of y = 2x - x^2 and 3y = x^2 - 4x + 6. The correct answer is 1/36 units^2. I'm just wondering how to deal with the 2nd equation. I should be fine from there.

Integration Question (Sum + Difference of Areas)

"Calculate the area bounded by x=y^(2/3), and x=y^(2) in the first quadrant." The correct answer is 4/15 units^2 but I keep getting 5/12 units^2. Could someone please confirm the correct answer? Cheers!
