My ATAR was 0.85 lower than the lowest ATAR estimated (ignoring the +/- 1.30 on one of the estimates). I used several calculators, including Matrix, Talent100 and HSC Ninja.
You might still get in. The cut-off is just the ATAR of the last person they let in that year isn't it?
And I'm trying to get into Bachelor of IT too, just not at the same Uni...
I got an ATAR of 72.50 which I'm sort of disappointed over but oh well.
I can live with my result. I'm likely still able to get into my desired course since I'm within this year's cut-off.
I got ~70 and eligible for up to 5 bonus points at my preferred Uni. But I'm still worried. Fingers crossed.
Re: 2017 HSC Marks Thread
12 hours till marks released. Nervous.
With how quick you were onto that I'd say you were just waiting that one minute till the clock hit 6? :p
Lucky! My local libraries don't seem to be registered with HSC Study Lab.
(All good tho cuz someone else I know had paid for it and let me use it on their account)
That's awesome! So lucky.
The main degree I want to get into is IT. But I thought having a Business degree wouldn't be a bad idea, considering I have a mutual interest in it.
Initially I was gonna do a double major in IT (wish I could do all 3 majors!)
I've been doing IT related courses since Year 7 (ICT was compulsory...
Do you need to be a member for certain amount of time then? I've so far not seen any GIFs in signatures so just assumed couldn't do it, along with HTML code in signatures?
EDIT: Nvm just spotted a few people with GIFs in siggies. :P - I musn't have been paying much attention.
I went to the website Codecademy to learn basic HTML and stuff...
I'm not sure if its a paid thing though because my teacher had assigned it to us to do by ourselves.
The other thing I learnt was Visual Basic. Microsoft gives Visual Studio for free. Not sure about any websites that might help...
I voted Yes. First vote I participated in but both my parents voted No. I don't see to big a problem with having same-sex marriage legal. But it's hard because kids do need a mother and a father (especially if the kid is the opposite sex of the two parents: Plus it can confuse the kid about...
Do this and I'd have dropped English in Year 12. At the moment the only advantage of English that I can think of is that it makes you think and sort of might inspire creativity or creative thinking. Anyway at least I now never have to do the English subject again.
Roots.
A movie about slavery on TV last night. Didn't watch the whole thing.
I think it was really sad at most scenes. (mind i didn't watch it all - it was like 12 at night due coming back from my formal. Didn't go to after party either.)
[I notice this is a very old thread. Doesn't count as...
I really hope Standard English doesn't destroy my ATAR either. I never caught on up to the required level for essay writing but i'd like to think I at least answered the questions. (Pre-prepared essays? Good or bad? I couldn't memorise a whole essay so just did a few quotes and techniques and...
What did you guys choose for MC 6? I said C.
Also I was stuck on A or B for MC 8. I went with B but the answer might've been A...
Also was unsure about 10.
Paper is up.
