I hear the trimesters can be pretty bad, what is your opinion of this system?

Has anyone done the atar notes topic test questions? If so, do you think the sample answers provided for some of the 7-9 markers is enough, it feels like if I wrote that much it wouldn't be worth the full marks, just from comparing to previous long response questions from the hsc.

For question 11e i dont understand why you multiplied the answer by 6 (ik the answer says "because there are 6 different colours that the dice could land on"), but the question only mentions the probablity of the same scores, why do the colours effect the final outcome?

Its not the easiest topic. The questions range from extremely easy to impossibly difficult

Another question: Can we use implicit differentiation in extension 1, without being penalised?

The extension 1 exam generally tends to include one question which involves a harder application of 2 unit knowledge, (ie 2018's last question), so i was wondering whether they could ask us a question on time payments or any other financial topic for that matter.

Do you guys think it was similar to last year's difficulty, (if not harder or easier)?

I have been doing past papers from the coroneos extension 2 book and I have trouble understanding some of the solutions they provide, as it isnt set out nicely. So if someone could just briefly outline the solution to these questions, that would be really helpful. 2001: 7bi 8biii and iv 2002: 8aii

Did anyone else know that we were going to be given writing space for the short answer questions? I was prepared to write in booklets until I turned over the page. Caught me off guard because I had to write all my answers in a smaller space
