How? A band 6 in society and culture and physics aren't the same. Imo those types of subjects still scale to well and encourage people choosing them because they are far easier then others and let's be honest, they are completely useless. Same with languages.

They need another list in between all rounders and distinguished achiever. Missed all rounder by 2 marks but I get the same recognition as someone that got 1 band 6

Can anyone who did ex2 give an estimate of what they thought they got raw on the test and their hsc mark. My mark just seems really low

Yeah I just recalculated and using raw marks from last year (adjusting down alot) that would be like a 70-75 which can be made up by just answering all the easy questions.

Only one that didn't scale well was ex2 it seems. I'm pretty sure I got around 83 raw (took off a bunch of marks for errors) and it only scaled up to a 85 which seems weird unless I completely fucked it

The scaling seems really good. Like to be honest I was scared that my only band 6 would be ex1 maths. Will be interesting to see if NESA have juiced everyone's and thus atars will be much lower then what would of been with same marks last year

For me, I got the same mark for internal and hsc for all subjects besides English

I was very surprised by it to be honest.

I got a 93 in physics and got 5 multiple choice questions wrong and didn't do great in the 9 marker

Anyone know if the merit lists come out at 6am aswell?
