    Eng Adv Paper 2 Predictions

ngl mod c you just kinda wing it in my experience. If you try to fit a predetermined 'idea' into the context of something vastly different, you will come across as fake, and it will be very obvious that you're trying to recycle previous work.

UNSW comm single or double degree

Double degrees provide you with a greater scope of learning. Personally, I'd like to pursue double eco/law for a career in big law, or investment banking. Additionally, there's less of a risk getting stuck with something you absolutely despise. (You don't want to spend time doing commerce for...

Bachelor of Economics- Bachelor of Laws

Hey guys, As you may know, entry into USYD eco-law is very competitive (arguably on par with medicine at other unis). Does anyone know how big the intake is every year? and if someone actually does this right now, what are your experiences? (pros/cons, regrets, advice etc.) Thanks.

Biology Practical Exam Tips (?) (HSC Task 2)

Hey guys, I created this thread for any tips, and tricks you might have. How can I best approach this test? It is on module 5, and these are listed as "possible" outcomes: ● model the processes involved in cell replication, including but not limited to: – mitosis and meiosis – DNA replication...

    Chatswood or Ryde

Chatswood 100%. Ryde/Parramatta/Macquarie fields etc are quite poor even for partially-selective schools.

    99.95 atar

I'd say try as hard as the top adv students in your cohort. If you can, work WITH them after school, at the library etc.

    99.95 atar

Of course you can. You just need to focus more on standard, because at the end of the day, 2 units of English are mandatory, so even if you state rank 4u, a b4/5 in standard will weigh you down. Good luck next year.

    Band 4-5 in English Advanced

You're not going to drop below 90 if you get B4/5 in adv (given you ace everything else). Also, It sounds like you've "accepted" a B4/5 even before the test. If you're capable of doing well in other subjects, I can't see why a B6 isn't possible.

    99.95 atar

That's literally the most common combination used by 99.95ers. English standard might screw you over tho.

    study tips + motivation <3

    1. Do NOT type. Laptops/Ipads are convenient but will slow you down in the long run. WRITE ON PAPER when grinding at home. I improved my writing speed during tests significantly through this. 2. My Eng teacher joked about adding weights to your pen/pencil while practising at home. Now idk if...

    Subjects for Yr 12

Do 10 units, considering you're a good student. But if you DO decide to do 10, then stay diligent because you don't have a safety net anymore.
