Can someone tell me where I can find the syllabus/outcomes for the following.

The BIOL1003 outcomes should be throughout your lab notes. The dot point 'objectives' at the start of each section are basically all you're given in regards to expectations. Thats how it was when I did the subject back in 2008.

    HBonline

Personally I never did HBOnline because it was just extracts from the textbook. I just made my own notes instead. However, I would highly recommend getting the textbook!

    Are prac swaps allowed?

As far as I know, all changes need to be made via the university timetabling system. Im pretty sure the staff cant make changes to prac times.

    Timetable (B Health Sci)

It sounds like you are enrolled in the cumberland one. To unenrol click the box on the left hand side of the subject and then click save changes. It will come up with withdrawn. Then reenrol by adding a new subject and typing in the course code. Alternatively, if you cant change the enrolment...

    Timetable (B Health Sci)

That does appear to be E block at Cumberland. What you should do is go into MyAdmin on myuni and check your current enrolment (enrolment variations). It will tell you the campus the unit of study is being taught on. I believe that HSBH1007 is being taught on both Cumberland and Camperdown...

    Semester 1 Timetables (2010)

I have a question...if a lecture is overflowed to the extent where there arent enough seats for everyone do they try to reschedule the lecture or just change the venue?

Orientation day for B Health Sceince

I went to both days. Although your BHS years may be at Camperdown its still a good opportunity to know people in your course. Personally I found the tour of Camperdown campus to be really good, it certainly takes the stress off when semester starts because you know your way around without...

    Human Biology BIOL1003

I agree. Seeley's Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology covers everything. I had the Mader chapters too, but didnt use them at all.

hi, where can i find out where/ what txt books i need?

If you dont want to get books at the coop you can get them second hand. I got my BIOL1003 book second hand from www.textbookexchange.com.au. It was virtually brand new and only half the price of what I would have paid at the coop. Sometimes its best to wait until lectures begin to get the books...

    Timetable (B Health Sci)

First semester is a pretty terrible timetable because you have psych lectures spread over 3 days, plus 2 bio lectures and a bio prac. Second semester is generally a lot better depending what electives you do.

Thanks, just wanted to double check. I hate Usyds timetabling system.

    changing your timetable

If you click on the 'customise my timetable' and then dont like what you get so you click 'I do not want this timetable' your initial timetable doesnt change, right?

    human biology vs physics?

I did human biology back in 2008 and I found it to be very difficult. Theres 3 lectures a week plus a fortnightly prac and work to be dont online, but these alone wont be enough to pass the exam. You have to study consistently from the very beginning otherwise youll fall behind and wont be able...

When do we get our booklists?? (B Health sci)

I started health science in 2008 and the books we had to get were: For PSYC1001 Psychology Themes and Variations by Weiten (7th edition) For BIOL1003 Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology by Seeley (Id advise on getting this one as the lectures dont contain enough information) For both...

www.textbookexchange.com.au is a really good site for second hand books. Or on campus there is the SRC second hand bookshop.

Units of study, electives etc for B health sciences

I dont think you can take a minor. Im sure if you planned your degree carefully you would be able to do the double major though. And yes, the only majors offered by the faculty of health science are hearing and speech and movement science. But if neither of those interest you, you can take...
