from what i've heard they are really strict on the word counts.....if what i've been told is correct i would do a quick edit to get your word count down to 500.

I think its probably down to the individual teacher. Most of my teachers will do that, I think its important to know your teachers well enough to know weather they would check it over or not. But as has been said, most people just write them and hope for the best without teacher advice. If...
