i reckon u do need to know the natural rate because u will need it to assess how well the government is in the area of unempoyment. And the trend of decreasing natural is quiet important to mention, relating to mirco-reforms and stuffs like that.

My teacher told us that they have not asked about a specific poem in the past few HSC and she also said that if they do, frequently a copy of the poem would be given. But i don't know how accurate she is. so i guess we'll still have to study all 6!

i know there is other policies that can help with the unempolyment problem such as monetary policies. increase in the interest rate --> increase of capital inflow (investment) --> higher factors of production demand --> lowering of unemployment well, that's what i'm thinking. If i'm wrong...
