    Cotton on Group Interview

No! They tick your name off as you enter into the room. They only offer interviews to people who've applied...duh. Good luck though, it's really easy!

    tutor a med science student

My friend talked to Wil Rifkin (the course coordinatory) and he said that a 1/3 of the year got HDs, even though for the most part we were all terribly lost. I'm guessing heaps of people would have gotten Ds too, I don't think I know of anyone who got less than a D. I believe Tim that all...

    tutor a med science student

Tuition in SCIF? [aka perspectives in med sci] BWAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!! Once you attend your first tute, you'll understand why I'm laughing hysterically. [here's a preview: "describe a peanut"] Also 1/3 of the course gets a HD, it's an excellent WAM booster. ;) BABS is very easy, apparently...

For the jobs at Target, you have to apply manually ie fill in paper application form for every store you want to apply for and submit it to each store . Each store does their own staff recruitment.

    Scholarship Bonus Points

One from each PUBLIC high school - private high schools are excluded. I'm more inclined to agree with nandayo, but maybe the rules changed since last year when I recieved it. *shrugs* Basically, they pay the scholarship money into your nominated bank account around the end of April. Then...

    Scholarship Bonus Points

Are you sure you get "bonus UAI points"? (I'm taking it as though you got awarded bonus points as part of the scholarship?) I think principal may be refering to 2 different things, ie the "HSC plus scheme" and the "Academic Achievement Award" scholarship. There's a website somewhere...

    Bridging courses

Re: 回复: Bridging courses I only asked because, it's one thing to just do the course, and then say "I got a UAI of 99+ and I did general maths" but your general maths mark didn't actually count towards your UAI. Congrats again.:) Bridging courses are quite expensive and they seem pretty...

    Bridging courses

Re: 回复: Bridging courses Congrats on your UAI:D But did your general maths mark count as part of your UAI?

    languages

Okay, thanks guys!! :D This might be the wrong forum but *meh* - is there any way to do a language as part of a science program at UNSW ie B Sci/B Adv Sci - or is this just a silly idea?:shy: You can tell I really want to learn other languages. I tried looking through other threads on...

    languages

:wave: Hey guys, does anyone know much about UNSW's institute of languages because I really wanna learn Mandarin Chinese and French/Japanese. Do you have to do it as part of your uni course work? Or can anyone rock up and enrol? And is Mando really hard to learn, considering I'd be a...

I Just Threw Out 5 Kilograms of HSC Related Paper.

:rofl::lol::rofl::rofl::lol::rofl::rofl: Ironically we've done that! ...welll by we, I am mean, last year's year 12 ;) It was in muck up week, and the yr 12s "planted" tress ALL OVER THE SCHOOL OVAL! It was the funniest thing ever to see 25 trees on our "precious" oval. However, the...

    Textbook with worked solutions?

 I haven't used Terry Lee much. I do when I absolutely don't get a concept and you know how fitzy he leaves out some of the answer (ie graphing), which leaves me unsure. I'm borderline then...:p

    Textbook with worked solutions?

Terry Lee's ext 2 maths book is quite pretty (colouful borders and diagrams - visually appealing:p) and they have worked solutions but he leaves out many of the simple steps (- a good and bad thing). The Terry Lee ext 1 book, you can't buy from retailers - I think (I don't have access to a...

    Trigonometric functions

Volume of a cone is 1/3 πr2h l=r@ (r as in the radius of the sector) l= 5π/3 Since the length of the arc is circumference then: 5π/3 = 2πr (r as in the radius of the circle at the base of the cone) .: r=5/6 for the height: using pythagorus (the 5 which was the radius of the sector becomes...
