I've heard recently that respect for the commerce degree at USyd is much lower than it used to be. UNSW>Macq>USyd>UTS. But it depends on the person, and also the major/electives you choose.

Easy easy. Much better to do very well 90+ in gen maths (very achievable) than to do Mathematics and get a 70. Rank matters not nearly as much if the students in your class are all or mostly doing very well (and you are one of them), however if its a larger spread of scores say people failing...

I'd say check out TAFE options first, or you could always repeat? No shame in that. Do it through TAFE.

Hey sorry I don't really know the details about studying at TAFE. But don't listen to the others, if you want to repeat then it's up to you. I don't see why it's not a good idea :)

I have to say it doesn't look too good for you...55-60ish at the moment. But start studying hard from now on, aim for band 6 in most/all subjects and I don't see why you can't get a 70 at least! Shame about the school's rank. But it's far too early to give up :)!
