    High Court of Australia

Yes I goto UTS as well; biz/law. I've also go the library exercise tomorrow. The neutral citation is a correct citation, as it is used for non text/voluimed based sources. Read pages 29-32 of the Business Law & Ethics subject outline. It explains everything about citation.

    High Court of Australia

Already working on the library exercise eh? I don't think there is any particular correct citation method, as each is used according to their source/situation. In the case of Gilsan v Optus, the source is the NSW Supreme Court, hence, they don't use the citation method most law reports use...

    Tell me about UTS!

UTS: - Tower building is fucken ugly. Fortunately, I don't think I'll ever have any classes there for any of my future subjects (biz/law). - The new science building is shaping out to be very nice and modern (well, from what I've seen of my eco/acct lectures in 02 room) - Markets campus...

    Employment for law

'Tis probably true that employment prospects of law graduates aren't very bright at the moment, but take into consideration the fact that most law students do a secondary degree (commerce/business, arts etc.); you could always work in the area of your other degree. Employment prospects for...

    How was your first day?

Had a Business Law & Ethics tutorial, then a Managing People & Organisations lecture (which was apparently very packed). The Haymarket campus is very nice and cosy, and wow, they have trees.

plz help ~! B comm at macq or B business at UTS ??

Well, I was responding to the first question posted in this thread concerning employment prospects of commerce/business students. I think the number of graduates hired by the big 4 are a damn good indication of employment prospects. You're right, accounting is not commerce, but I'm sure the...

    UTS vs Sydney vs UNSW?

Are there any stats on how much graduate suburbun solicitors make? If the cream of the crop law students (i.e. the 25-50 graduates hired per firm) make $38-50k at big city law firms.. wtf do the others make? Us non USYD/UNSW students are so inferior that we should just give up and die. We...

    Need help ASAP transferring...

No offence, but how about trying to do the homework yourself.. Look at the subjects offered for first year study for both courses, read their descriptions, compare and then take an educated guess and what subjects are very similar and would be eligible for prior learning. Then, contact UTS...

So whos starting Law @ UTS?

So I turned up early for enrolment this afternoon. I dunno about you guys, but I saw mainly girls entering the law room of advisors (step 3) . Not that it's a bad thing, if anything, it'll be great if thats an indication of gender spread :D . If anyone wanted to know, I was an...
