Both of you are right. It does rhyme. But it is a pararhyme in that it almost rhymes. And THAT upsets the rhythm of the poem. It doesn't change it. Indicating... that... something has changed.

Mine is a mixture of my own devision... historic quotes... a play by Maxwell Anderson... from the movie of the play and bits and pieces that i wrote myself... in lots of cases you just can't come up with 8 minutes of monologue on your own... look at all options for the character you choose...

You need to get into it... if they choose something crap, even though its an individual mark, the whole group will be marked less because of the 'overall' feel of the piece... talk to them... explain that you aren't comfortable with what they're doing... tis for your own good... compromise!
