    Food Technology - general thoughts

    About 10 people left our room after the hour (class of about 30-ish). Only 4 people were left in the room when the exam ended. I would never leave an exam, I would at least just sit there and read over my work. Not that I have experienced that yet, I'm always pressed for time.

    I thought it was great. Multiple choice were easy, short answer were reasonable, definately better than the trial. I liked the second extended reponse, I just didn't like the Nutrition question about the Physical/Economic effects.

    My reasoning behind picking D was.. A and C definately out. Then genetic engineering I don't even remember learning about in Food Technology, I knew it from Biology or something.. so D. No idea if it's correct.

    That dividend yield question got me. I had no idea what it meant. I guess that explains it, it was year 11 work.

    stressed?

    Yes, very stressed. I HATE, biology.. I've been averaging a 55 all year, I'd like to get at least 60 in the exam, but who knows.

    Kangaroo Question

    Ditto.. I knew it from Bio.. haha If you still are having trouble, this is how I did it.. He released the 50. Caught back 200 and 5 were tagged. 5/200 = 1/40.. so therefore the original 50 is 1/40 of the estimated number of kangaroos. 50 x 40 = 2000.

    I ran out of time so I had to leave a few, but they were the ones I was "OK" with leaving blank i.e. I had no idea how to do them.

    Subjects that you regret doing

    Biology. I only picked it because it was the best out of the possibilities on that subject line. Bad mistake.
