Free? Lol, Fuck you. Haha, I bought it as soon as it came out (was either gonna get the K700i, or the Nokia 7something (the one with the 1MP camera), but it looked kinda ghey so I went with the K700i. Great phone eh?Lexicographer said:Everyone in my family is on two year Optus Business contracts, and we all get new phones whenever it's time to rollover (at various times throughout the year). I've had a new phone every year for the past seven. So basically I never know how much my phone is actually costing me, I just get it "for free" in the plan.
Anyway, I'm planning to rebuild muscle in the areas currently occupied by fat. It sucks to have once been sufficiently built, only to be liquefied by the awful science-student timetable.
As for your physique, I have to remind you that it's generally difficult to effective gain muscle while effectively lose fat, unless you haven't worked out for ages or haven't worked out.. erm ever lol. Building muscle effectively requires a calorie excess, while to lose fat you generally require a calorie deficit.. so yeah, as you can see the two are conflicting. So basically you should either lose the fat first and then try to build the muscle, or build muscle first and then lose the fat.. the net results of weight loss and muscle gain will be alot quicker to achieve than trying to gain muscle while losing fat at the same time (infact, I recall myself explaining this to Winston just the other week). If I were you, I'd just simply go on a cutting season now (since it IS summer), and simply pump the iron to retain muscle mass. Then when winter comes, bulk up and eat crazy. I've been on the bulk for awhile now, and gonna start cuttin' in probably two weeks or so. I'm 5'6, 78kg, and have a slight gut to lose. I reckon 2 months should do the trick.
Also do what mack said and run on an empty stomach early in the morning. It boosts your metabolic rate for the day while also allowing you to burn more fat per session due to the fact that your muscular glycogen stores would be low from a night of fasting. I'd do HIIT training though, instead of the usual 60% of your max heart rate running because at that rate, you burn a much higher percentage of protein, inducing you to lose MORE muscle mass.. while if you were doin HIIT, you'd be burning less than 1% protein. Fat burning won't be that high during the session, but HIIT training's main purpose is to boost your metabolism significantly for the next few hours.. (even up to 15 hours, as claimed by some exercise physiologists).
