Appears the class of '05 is a very strong year...apparently the best in a number of years, though I'm not sure about that...'02 was a good year too...

oh and yes shuter, well done on your speech! it has so motivated me!--ok I'm exaggerating here a bit, but yes, it has changed my mind. thanks, just cross your fingers and hope for the best!

05'er here. I already want out. Maybe it's to due with being at BoS where all the 04'ers have finished. Bah.

Only one year to go. I'm keeping up fairly well, so far.

good on you shuter

although to be a whinger for a second, its much harder when you're at a selective school because you're surrounded by deranged people who do like 4-5 days of tutoring a week and never go out
It's not much different, at a public school you've got no competition to push you.

yeah, but at a selective school you have competition to the point where you constantly think you're stupid, when really, the main reason people do better than you is because, as said before, they go to tutoring 4 days a week, pre-uni on weekends and never go out :p

haha yeah, i know what you mean..Far out, some people get tutoring for every subject. Making school completely pointless.
Well that's their choice to have those tutoring for every subject but you know they have no life and all. Yes I'm sure some of those are gonna get UAI of 100 but Life Skills of -100.

So we should fuck em all by having our own little study sessions with our friends.
There's a Pre-Uni College ad on the chinese radio and it says sth like "If you don't want your sons/daughters to fall behind but academically successful and enter in selective school, go to Pre Uni College, it can boost up the performance and... bleh bleh"

So in my head i was thinking "Fuck... those poor kids are gonna have no life soon."

05'ers are the best
i would always hope i graduated in 00 or 05, because it's such a nice rounded number. and the number 9 is awesome.
we started school in 1993, a shitty year. it doesnt even look aesthetically pleasing, so it's only fair that we should graduate in such an awesome year.

nah. '02 was an alright year. it was '01 that was the best in recent years. '03 was a crap year and what i ahve heard is that '05 is the best year in ages. like i'm not saying it as well. it shows in the statisitcs as well. we are the best performing academic year in years. probaly the best in this new hsc system.

Yea some people i know go to like 5 tutions... Maths, English, Physics, Chem and Bio. *shivers* And the funny thing is... the people who don't go to tution always kick their ass!...

Personally I think you can get loads more done in 2 hours at home than at tution...
