l og3 81 = x

then 3x = 81

3x = 34

therefore x = 4

11= 1

10 = 1

11 = 10

1 = 0

Why is this wrong / right ????

See how you have 1 on the RHS there? Think about how that 1 is expressed.

Is it just 1^0 or 1^1?

Solve 1^m = 1^n

Doesn't mean m needs to equal n

I will explain more when I leave train

While your arithmetic is correct he is not simplifying the RHS and LHS he is claiming that for any number b

B^m = B^N implies m=n clearly not true sorry stuck in train
oh lol right he's doing it with the powers wtf

Exactly what I have said thy

1^1 = 1^2 = 1^3 = 1^n = ..... For n integral excluding infinity we cannot say 1=2=3=...=n
