1 unit ext math 66% > 1 unit physics 77%? (1 Viewer)

hi people

i just received my results in the mail and it said units that were calculated in my UAI did not include my Physics marks at all.

Subject - HSC Mark
English Adv - 85
English Ext1 - 40
IPT - 85
Mathematics - 88
SDD - 83

those above 9 units all counted as expected

however from these bottom 2 subjects they used my ext1 maths for the 10th unit instead of what it looks like a much better mark in physics.

Subject - HSC Mark - (percentile)

Maths Ext1 - 33 - (~20th percentile, ive beaten only 20% of people)
Physics - 77 - (~57th percentile, ive beaten 57% of people)

Both physics and ext math have good scaling so did they make a mistake counting the maths ext instead of halving physics or am i missing something.

thx cyph, if i knew that ext maths scales that well even when i got e2 i may have tryed harder.

yep, my 1 unit of Maths Ext 1 was > my 2 unit maths

for Maths Ext 1 i got 38/50
for Mathematics i got 88/100,

Just shows anything below 90 in 2unit maths is crap and Maths Ext 1 has some half decent scaling
