Brian! That's not really 10 things on why you like school!

Likes:

-Down the road
-Friends
-Free Periods
-Business Studies
-Ancient History
-English (most of the time)
-Holidays
-You get to socialise to those you normally wouldn't normally outside of class
-Teachers who give you little treats every lesson (i.e. brownies/lollies/presents etc. in Bus. Stud.)
-Lots and lots of grass!

Dislikes:

-Neverending Rocka hype
-Ibises
-Ibises
-Ibises
-The concrete buildings which make up the school
-Filthy juniors who don't understand the concept of not littering
-Horse stables next door
-Stupid cows
-The library where the doors are left open, unintentionally inviting in the stupid IBISES
-Lots of boring Physics lessons
-Year Advisor, who, sweet at times, gives in quite easily to the demands of a couple of annoying fellow students

I know it's 11, but I evidently don't care.

- being able to get away with practically anything as a senior
- no more sport in yr 12
- excursions
- being able to choose ur own subjects in senior years

Dislikes:
- pretty much all of junior high school
- our rather pathetic performing arts facilities (green carpet on the walls??? who thought up that idea???)
- the teachers who can't speak english properly
- the bus home (full of feral bogans and waaaaay too overcrowded)
- the dams in high summer: the evaporate and all the gunk and junk at the bottom starts to smell really bad.
- the way that half the junior school wears the uniform (last time i checked a skirt was meant to at least cover ur butt)
- on the other hand, the pedantic (and inconsistent and hypocrytical) way that some of the teachers enforce uniform: e.g on my graduation morning "you cant graduate in those socks"... i was in green ones coz i had no clean white ones. and she completely ignored about 10 people wearing the wrong shoes. wtf.
- the librarian: "THIS IS A LIBRARY!!!!!!!!!! BE QUIET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" - she makes all the goddamn noise!
- lack of airconditioning or even working fans sometimes
- the many many many feral bogans (esp yr 9... i pity their yr advisor)

1. Sense of history, belonging and safety (I've been there 12 years)
2. Seeing my friends every day
3. The wonderful teachers I've had, ESPECIALLY my english teacher
4. Learning, being able to rant random chemistry trivia and sound like a nerd
5. The little tiny packets of rice chips from the canteen
6. Preps (free periods)
7. Going out for lunch to Stanley St
8. Being at the top of the high school food chain
9. Being a complete fool without worrying someone will think I'm a crazy hobo
10. Making profane "your mum" jokes in maths

Dislikes
1. ASSESSMENT TASKS
2. Maths last lesson on a Friday
3. The snobby, girly, obnoxious girls that made up my form class
4. Some girls' obsessions with clothing, guys and/or alcohol
5. Waking up at 6.05
6. Tedious bus trips to and from school
7. Heavy, bulky school bags
8. SCHOOL UNIFORM
9. Generally disgusting tuckshop food (except number 5 from "Likes" list)
