Hi, I need a 100lv subject to boost my GPA in semester 2, 2009 (which is my 2nd sem in this uni)
I need a subject that is not to hard to get at least D (HD preferred). Subject like ISYS123 is not of my interest (easy to pass but hard to get D)
Could you please give me some recommendations?
Desperately need your advice
Thank you :)

If you can't get a D in ISYS123, then you're going to struggle getting it elsewhere

Depends what subjects you would enjoy doing but I do have a suggestion, CBMS123 it's a dead easy course only 2 lectures for the whole semester and no final exam because all marks come directly from assesments. I did it as an elective and got a D without really trying to hard.

Dear all,
I got HD in stat170, acst101 and econ110 already. For isys123 I got .... 74. So I think my study ability is not really that bad
Is it hard to get at least D at MKTG101 or BBA102? I heard somewhere that it is hard....

Don't think it would be that hard (for MKTG101)
I got 70 and went to 3 lectures the whole semester and studied for a week before the exam.
If I had been to lectures I'm sure I would've got 75+
As I guide I got low 60's for my other subjects.

Assessments are pretty reasonable...in class test with 2 short answers, group work, lit review (such a bitch but only worth 15%). Final exam is worth 55%

What are your strengths? I assume you are from the Business and Economics faculty. If you are good at bullshitting and remembering information i recommend mktg101 or bba102. If you are good at maths do acst101. If you are good with numbers do accg105.

Remember just because a unit is "easy," to achieve a D in any unit is a great feat and doesn't come easily. You still have to put the work in.

If you can't get a D in ISYS123, then you're going to struggle getting it elsewhere
ISYS123 is harder to D than 200lvl bba units

How about Math 100lv? Are they hard to get D or HD once I try hard
If you did the easier maths units maybe, however, I think you not allowed do easy maths units if you did well in maths in HSC (just from memory).

first year PHIL units are quite straight forward if you put decent work in it, but PHIL units aren't for everyone.

I got a D in Marketing Fundamentals (MKTG101). It's not that hard. Just study, and make sure you have people in your group for the group assignment who actually have a brain.

if I got 89 for ACST101, then should I have any trouble getting D or HD in MATH130?

Probably not- I've seen the stuff they do in 130 and most of it seemed to be covered in HSC 2/3 unit maths

Also consider MATH123, would be even easier than 130
