well i plan to drop IPT

is this a bad plan considering i hate that subject to death and was forced to do it because of lines???

is 10units that bad?? because i know my maths, economics, business and legal work inside out

Should i plan to drop it and drop it so that i just piss off it and do bare minimum until term 4?

First of all, it is amazing how many decisions you make can be over turned in a few weeks. I was adamant I was going to drop IPT at Year 11 term 1, then I considered dropping Software, then both, keeping Engineering Studies. Now goodbye Engineering Studies. A recent turn of luck has happened once again, our IPT teacher left us. I would still be studying it, unless you are 100% sure. 10 units is a bit risky for my liking, are you planning to do 4 Unit Mathematics?

He can't do 4U as he only does 2U.

10 units isn't bad. You have more time to concentrate on subjects & you'll get free periods. Don't do the bare minimum just in case something does happen and your decision changes. 12 units is just safer incase you don't do as well in one subject but seeing as you aren't willing to put in the effort for IPT I would suggest dropping to 10 Units.

I don't mind putting in the effort

I just find the subject so boring and Tiring. It is simple enough but really makes the day go much slower

I am pretty sure I'll get a band 6 in maths, economics, legal and business if not a band 5 every test so far 90+% for each

As you said, you know the content of your other subject inside out, so there should be a problem. You know what's your potential are, if you decided to drop it, you should drop. But same with what spiralflex and slyhunter said, that your mind changes all the time, so just take your time and think about it. read about the hsc content of IPT and see whether it is as bad as the prelim course, then decides from there.

True

I may as well do 10 units (11 including ext maths)

I know the course very well for everything so I can't forsee a problem

I do 10 units, and it makes a difference. If your confident you can do it and have legitimate reasons to drop a subject, then go ahead (just ensure you dont regret it!).

This.
From day 1 of 2010 I knew I was going to get the Physics teacher fired and drop Biology, because I only did it because the don't run V Art or Drama at my school. But I knew I would keep Physics till my HSC.
Now, Physics is gone and I came first in the Bio half yearly. So don't get too worked up about it.
lol, 32% was your IPT score if I'm not mistaken
