What career path do you have in mind? Don't fret if you don't have any. By the way, is the TAFE course a TVET one? Accounting? If it is, then don't drop accounting whatever you do. I did the course and aced in it - It was my only band 6! Regarding maths, you still have time - To go tutoring etc...But in a nutshell, youve got to drop the worst subject now!...You won't feel like it as the race gets tighter later on. Do you like maths? Ask yourself that. Are you willing to step up a notch? You need to tackle the worst topics first, some good textbooks are Maths in Focus (Great for explanations and basic problems), HSC Fast Track (Great for "sectioning" and the formulas), Accelerated Learning (Pinkish-purple - Also great at explanations). Look in Dymocks, Angus&Robertson etc. You need to know your problem areas - Lack of knowledge about how to use the formulas is probably the main problem. In a nutshell, do lots and lots of questions i.e. practice! Also, make sure you ask lots of questions - Don't be embarrassed, that's how you learn. You've still got 8 months...Best wishes!
