dude, i feel your pain (another SDD 89 here). but last year < 10 ppl got sdd band 6, (although they did apparently modify the marking guidelines for this year) so a high band 5 is pretty nice.

so anyway, down to the business end of the morning:

Code:
[b]subj hsc mark band[/b]
chemistry 86 5
english adv 87 5
maths 93 6
maths ext 1 42 E3
software D+D 89 5
visual art 97 6
lazseeker uai: nah, i'm trying to steer away. if it predicts incorrectly, i might be depressed or have false hope.

i'm pretty happy with my lot, esp. art... but it seems everyone's getting fairly high marks, so we'll see how it all goes down on the 20th.

I suppose what Im trying to figure out is, if one gets mid 80's for all 10 units, can one expect to get a UAI of at least 80? Lazseeker says 92 for my UAI, but its probably reasonably inaccurae for this year since most people seem to be doing well.

Any thoughts on how much to 'modify' your Lazseeker result to be 'safe'? I.e would taking 10 full points off your score be about the maximum it could change?
